Welcome to the forum Cody. The silver EC looks mighty nice. But we need to think of something for punishment and atonement for destroying that El camino.:stern: The members here should suggest something.

it has very few things that need to be fixed such as some very minor paint chips and cracks and a new engine along with some other very minor things in the interior

Cody Anderson
09-10-2009, 05:26 PM
alright u guys just tell me what all you want to know about the wreck and i think that punishment is a little to severe! :0

marshall.pixley
09-10-2009, 05:41 PM
i know i just like the sound of it. and how did you flip it and how is it that you are still living today? the roof was crushed in those pics!:neutral2:

Cody Anderson
09-10-2009, 05:54 PM
okay well i was listening to ACDC's Highway to hell and the rain was pretty bad and the person in front of me had to slam on thier brakes then, i did the same and when i did i heard and felt the rear tires loose grip and around went my el camino now i was going down a hill sideways, and i tried to correct and miss the truck in the other lane, which i did, but as soon as i got passed the truck, the car snapped forward and i hit the embankment at an angle and when that happened the el camino spun around and the tail caught the embankment and it rolled me over then my head hit the driver side window and busted it then i heard the windshield burst and the car crunching, and the car scrapping the pavement, and after the car stopped upside down, my seat belt would not release so i had to take the knife out of my pocket and cut the belt off and since i was upside down the doors were jammed so i had to kick the rear window out ( which was easy since the roof was crushed) and i crawled out and just thought about what just happened.

Is that enough detail for you? :)

marshall.pixley
09-10-2009, 05:59 PM
damn good job on detail. good choice of music. and dont you wish you had anti lock brakes? :yell:

Cody Anderson
09-10-2009, 06:01 PM
yeah.... on the silver one i have now, i that was the first thing i added to the car i only recived a concussion from the whole wreck

marshall.pixley
09-10-2009, 06:11 PM
smart move man. and how did you only get out with a concussion? and i've noticed a vague similarity in your signature compared to mine.:secret:

Cody Anderson
09-10-2009, 06:14 PM
i think the seat belt did its job and that after i hit the embankment, i went limp because i heard it helps lessen the chance of injury and not only that the seats sunk down about 3 or 4 inches and that kept me from hitting my head on the roof. and yes i like your signature so i Made one similar :)

DONE DEAL DONNY
09-10-2009, 06:15 PM
No it's not enough info. I need to know the color of the car that hit their brakes and the license number of the truck in the other lane you swerved to miss:poke:
Just funnin ya!!!
Donny

marshall.pixley
09-10-2009, 06:17 PM
lol donny. and thanx for the similar sig i find it flattering

Cody Anderson
09-10-2009, 06:17 PM
hehehe well since you asked it was a 2005 or 2006 black ford F150 and as for the licence plate well i cant even remember my own :)

marshall.pixley
09-10-2009, 06:19 PM
nice color change on the signature! and your memory is better than mine cause i cant imagine knowing that info way after the fact.

Cody Anderson
09-10-2009, 06:21 PM
well the wreck happened on May 1st of this year. and when you have a wreck ( which i hope you dont) you will remember most of it unless you get knocked out.

marshall.pixley
09-10-2009, 06:23 PM
wow i gotta say that during the day you got in a wreck i started counting down the days until i turned 16. may 26 was that date. and thats about the only date i know.

Cody Anderson
09-10-2009, 06:25 PM
wow man is that your el camino in the pic?

marshall.pixley
09-10-2009, 06:31 PM
what my avatar? yes it is if thats what your referring to i bought it about a month after i turned 16. its nice minus the dash... literally it has no dash. the gauges are in a steel plate that is zip tied in the middle of the car. to tell you the truth i just bought a dash from a member of this forum today.

Cody Anderson
09-10-2009, 06:33 PM
the body looks like its in Very good shape and dont feel bad about the gauges, my speedometer does not work i have to judge speed by RPM

marshall.pixley
09-10-2009, 06:37 PM
same in mine. auto meter gauges that i havent gotten around to setting. and its in fine shape, a mall dent or two and the paint is chipped a little. also i got a woird spot on the back that seems to bubble and warp its only like 2 inches wide so its no big. i must compliment your car also. i love that color of silver. a 2inch cowl would set that car off like a rocket!:nanawrench:

Cody Anderson
09-10-2009, 06:39 PM
thank you, i was going to save up and put either a 350 or 396 engine in it with a 4bbl carb and add a 2-3 in cowl :) and paint 2 black racing stripes down the hood and on the roof and tailgate to make it look like an SS

marshall.pixley
09-10-2009, 06:42 PM
i would go with a 383 over the 350 for the torque. and i think a single stripe right down the middle of the cowl might look good even though i must say that you cant go wrong with duel strips just pitchin ideas

Cody Anderson
09-10-2009, 06:44 PM
okay im open to ideas. my little 305 does not have enough torque for me so i cant wait to get like 5k and get my car perfect.

marshall.pixley
09-10-2009, 06:49 PM
my 350 only has 235hp so i cant wait till i turn 21 and my dad lets me have a motor he built way back when that has like 450hp. im thinkin it would look kool to put ss chevelle emblems on the grill. kinda a cheap upgrade. i plan to keep my paint style just have it compleatly redone buy a professional and put a silver pinstrip on the border wear the black and orange meet.:dontknow:

Cody Anderson
09-10-2009, 06:52 PM
yeah man that sounds like a great project car you have i hope u keep me and the rest of the members updated on your progress.

marshall.pixley
09-10-2009, 06:57 PM
i always do man. im a teen so its not like i have much else i can do. and your sounds like an awesome car once you get the cash. but i must say that the 305 with proper care will run until hell freezes over.
