I checked the Jegs catalog (http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=909&prmenbr=361), $130 seems reasonable to me.

I expected that this would happen, once the word got out. Called JEG this morning to order another crossmember for a friend and they are now on back order. May be as long as two weeks till more are avalible. As soon as the Monte Carlo SS crowd figures this out the list will grow even longer. But at least we know they are avalible and look to be worth the wait. Harald K

I know it says "universal", but does anyone know if this $130 dual hump crossmember is the same for the 700R4 and the TH350? The Jegs website doesn't specify.
Looks like Harald is eating dessert, first!

there is a guy on maliburacing.com's site that has one that looks as good or better than this or the g-force. wants $100 each unpainted. hope this helps. also he has them for the different trannys,350, 700, 2004R. have a good one. built mine myself. ugly but effective. lol.

I called Jegs and they said the crossmember they sell was designed off a g-body running a TH350 tranny??? Not sure how that would satisfy my 700R4 needs. Certainly don't see how that would fit a TH400 setup.
