I have installed 700R4 in '87 El Camino, with floor shift, but cable linkage is not long enough... what do i need to do? New cable?

Since g bodies never came with a 700, I would measure the length you would need & take that to the parts store. I know a few guys here have done it. Search all the past posts in this section to see if the answer is here.
