What' s the easiest way to remove the medal rear window molding. I have some minor rust I want to take care of but I've never fooled with the trim. Are there any special tools needed? :?:

There are some special tools that you need. Many of the car restoration places sell a 'kit' that has 4 or more tools that will do all of the trim on your car. Most of them will also have short instructions on who to use them. Realize that the trim is held on with plastic clips that usually break when you take the trim off, really just the plastic getting brittle with age. You can get replacement plastic pieces from most of the restoration places also.

The tool has a flat hook on each side that you slide in. Yes, plan on replacing at least half of the clips.

Does anyone have a particular recommendation for the tool and clips?

Like, a good experience with a vendor or website?

thanks!
