I've got a 71 Camino, I'm looking to put a different rearend in it though so that I can use the one that is currently in it on another project. Can anyone tell me if there is any other rearends that I might could pick up at a salvage yard or something that would be the same as a stock 71 rearend? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Any A body should work. How much do you want to spend?

Not a whole lot, I'm taking the rearend out of my 71 so that I can get it ready to sell, I just put a brand new Auburn 4:11 posi in it and don't want to let it go with the car when I sell it.

I belive that all GM A body from 1968 to 1972 will work. That would be Chevelle, Elcamino, MonteCarlo, from Chevrolet, Pontiac would be Lemans, GTO, Buick would be Gran Sport, and others. I had a 70 that I put a Pontiac rear end in , and later a Buick. You will need a bastard U Joint for the non chevy rear ends
