: Thinking ahead...

I was just thinking what it was going to be like 20 years from now. If this site is still here (no reason it shouldn't be BTW ) It's going to be kind of weird.

There haven't been any web sites around for 20 years yet. I wonder what kind of changes there will be.

Will we be talking about the price of synthetic gas or maybe E85 issues? Will we even be able to drive our Elky's anymore?

Maybe we won't even have to type messages anymore. Maybe it'll be more like an interactive facebook or something....

Just kind of interesting to think about...

Well you might have to pay to use the internet because of net neutrality. Also if we can donate money so the wonderful people who run this can keep the servers good. Third if we are even alive past 2012. Who Knows

Hate to rain on the parade, but they'll probably be no internet. The way our government keeps deciding what's best for us, we'll probably be living in caves. Yeah, singing 2525!!! But seriously, my Granddaughters will probably have my Elk by then, and hopefully they'll all be members in good standing here on ECC. The way things are today, I don't like lookin to far down the road.

This 'Nanny State" government is going to ruin our country. If this is "Change" I don't want any part of it.

How about George Orwell's "1984"? Big Brother is watching. Talk about things coming true. He could not decide what to title his book. So he decided on the reversing the last two digits of the year when he wrote it. 1948. Scary.

Well 20 years from now huh? My body will still probably be in a cryogenics tank waiting to be revived...I am leaving specific instructions for whomever has custody of my body to bring me back when GM finally decides to build the next generation El Camino...just so I can see it...and see that it doesn't sell (being that GM Executives in the future will most likely still be as stupid then as they are now)...we're probably talking a couple of centuries here...I'll log on to ECC, if it still is around, just to see if any of you guys are still here also...I don't plan on hanging around long though...I'm going to have my El Camino converted to hydrogen rocket power...get in it...and launch myself toward the sun and burn up...mainly because the human race will consist of even more stupidity then it does now...I see stupid people. Walking around like regular people. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're stupid...They're everywhere...but mainly where I work!
