My 79 seems to have an electrical ghost .. everyonce in a while all the lights signals and even radio just shuts off but the car still runs .. i assumed it might have had something to do with my wiper mototr cuz t was on the frtiz .. since then i have taken the wiper motor out and they seem to have gone away for the time being .. but the thing is i havent turned the car on since i took the motor out heh ( that why theres no problem) anyways anyone have anything similar happen to them if so then what did you do

Sounds more like the body is not grounded sufficiently. Check to see if you have a ground wire from the negative battery cable to the fender and there should be another (strap) from the back of the engine to the firewall, there are others but these are the 2 most important. These may have become loose or corroded, or even broke. It may also have something to do with your fuse box. Overtime electrical contacts corrode and no longer make connection. Although your wiper motor may or may not have been bad, I don't think it's the cause of this problem, however it may have been the cause of the wiper motor not working in the first place.
