Hello again,
I was looking at my wires the other day and decided i MIGHT need to replace them, but i dont want to spend the money. Does anyone know what the resistance (ohms or amps or whatever) there is supposed to be in a stock set of wires? I can measure the resistance i just dont know what it's supposed to be at.

The resistance in ohms per foot is not useful anymore because modern performance wire is spiral wound and not the old style ignition wire that had a carbon impregnated core. If you do have carbon wire I would definitely replace it. Spiral wound wire doesn't change resistance as it ages (unless it is broken). You would normally replace the wire if the covering is damaged or deterioated. just inspect the wire and if it looks good it is probably ok. If it hasn't been replaced in many years you may want to change it as preventive maintenance.

Accel makes a spiral core wire that's not to expensive. Price wise, probadly your best bet. Deffinently go spiral core.

Borg-Warner also makes a spiral wound plug wire set thats pretty inexpensive.
I just bought a set for my Elky last weekend at O'reilly Automotive for $29.95 for my 305.
Pep Boys, at least here where I live, also carrys this same set.
Its 8MM, with gray silicone jacket.
