i have installed a sunpro supertach II in my '83 elky. anyone who has installed an aftermarket tach,where did you hook up the wire for the backlighting on the tach? i am not sure where to connect the wire.

Not sure if the '83 is the same as the '80, but I ran the light wire to a clip on the headlight slot in the fuse box. On another I linked it to the dash light clip. My '83 is in storage in another city or I'd go take a look. :D
