I'll be moving up to DE in about a year. Just seeing who is in the area. More specifically, I'll be moving somewhere around Lewes / Rehobeth beach area.

As long as I can make time for it I would like to join. I plan on moving up in about a year as I said and I'll probably be bringing 2 or 3 vehicles with me. I'll be living in the area for at least 2 years so... so I'll get to know some of ya. Since I am moving my father is going to help me pay and finish the rest of the current elco project in the next few months which I have a feeling is going to end in the 80 - 90K range when all is said and done. If I can get that clear adhesive bra added to the front clip and the hood I may cruise around those rural streets up your ways... otherwise she's going to live on a trailer. haha

and I haven't yet decided if I will be buying a garage and keeping my El in Bear, DE where my uncle lives (he has a ton of land so it may be easier for me to drop a $2500 shed in his back yard) or I may rent a house with a garage. I'm still in school so I haven't decided if I will stay living up that way or if I may move along in a few years...

Yeah that would be sweet. I tried to get an El Camino club in the NJ,DE, and Northeast PA area and no one was really interested. I guess I am not sure were to start other then here. There were people interested, but no one was serious when they said anything.

Anyway there are a ton I mean a ton of people with old cars in Pa,NJ and DE were I go to shows. We have show almost every weekend in Bucks County And there has to be a ton around you somewhere. Although winter time you will not see one old car, but when summer hit you will see them all over the place! Also the front bra is quiet cheap and easy to put on. I put one on my moms 74 corvette she had before she sold it. Not to much work. http://www.google.com/products?q=el%20camino%20bra&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-USfficial&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wf (http://www.google.com/products?q=el%20camino%20bra&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wf) I would also say buy a shed so you know were your El Camino is doing and second once you move away your grandfather could also use it.. If you put it into a garage you will have to pay monthly for it and you never know if someone will do something to it. Also there are a ton of different colleges/schools here to choose from so you will have no problem when you move to find a school with your major or a decent high school (Not sure what one you go to). What ever you do is cool with me and I am just glade I will have someone in region 3 to talk to :nanawrench:

not those bras! gross! gotta show off a 10K dollar paint job! haha I meant the adhesive clear bra like they have on the new corvettes.

Anyways, I keep my car in a warehouse down here... but it has 2 locks on every door and a brinks alarm system... and it stays close by!

I will be going to Beebe college...

Old cars up there are everywhere... I used to see this one beat down 50's or 60's car in someones drive way right off the highway going into phllly to visit the Italian market. I think there was a fire station right by the highway... Always wanted to stop and ask what he wanted for it but never did :( Certainly needed a full resto but looked like a really cool car.

Now that makes more sense hahahahahahahahahahahah LOL. Well what ever you do keep it locked up tight. People do steal thing from cars. Also you will always find cars that are just rotting away around Philly. Just have to check around the area.

Only crap part about moving up there is your gun laws. Down here in florida its "master/king of your domain" which means involving your house, car, property, or persons... shoot first ask questions later.

I catch someone robbing my car I can to fill them with bullets down here and I'm free! Up there I think I can only shoot after their knife is inserted into my abdomen... lol

Well one reason they do not have that is the crime rate in Philly and surrounding areas is really high. Philly has the most homicides is the U.S. So it kind of makes sense to band that type of law around here

El Corvino

We have a ridiculous crime rate down here... its just either the people here are illegal so they don't report it or it was stolen in the first place so they don't report it.

Tuggy24g
12-03-2009, 10:45 AM
Well I feel that if they do not report a crime regardless of if your illegal or not then they are doing there job at all!!!

oh well... Fingers crossed that I won't have to worry about anyone doing anything stupid to/near me or any of my stuff. I'll tell ya what scares me the most are ricers. They can't drive and they do 80+ on these streets weaving in and out of traffic.

One got roped up driving a ford focus 130 through traffic on the highway down here weaving in and out of cars. an under cover in a 2008 4 door honda civic saw him and had thrown him on the hood of his car by the time we caught up to him.

Well there is Philly street racing down here that they do.

El Corvino
12-03-2009, 06:45 PM
I like street racing down here. Bunch of older rich guys that just poor stupid money into already fast cars. Not into going out to the hardcore street races where they run for money and run their mouths for hours and then pull out guns because someone "cheated" (why I don't street race in ship hole miami any more)

Well we take over a highway and drag race. It is pretty big up here since there is a guy on youtube who files all of this stuff. I was thinking about racing with my El Camino once I got my rearend broken it. Then I thought of how bed it could go all around and then I said no not worth it.

El Corvino
12-05-2009, 01:17 AM
not worth it man.... if i was going to do this scum bag street race stuff I'd get a tubbed monte carlo with a built 427 or a blown big block and bring a legit 7 second car out there. None of those things i see on youtube are for fun... just a bunch of scum bags lying about what they have trying to cheat each other for money.

I'm more into the rich guys down here who do it so they can run home and tell everyone on the interweb who beat who and talk trash to eachother. Its hilarious. This one guy is the funniest dude ever... and he has like infinite money. He kept racing a procharged mach1 and when someone beat him... the same night he drove home and came back with a TT cobra. These guys are ridiculous

Well I tell them to spend the money they spent on those mustangs and build a fast motor!!! Then put it into a nice cheap older mustang, You can make an all around faster and cheaper stang.
Also my Cruck has a 402. I know it is not the best big block, but it does the job
