I have a sprayed-in bed liner ( SEM Tintable) on my Elky. I've changed the body color, and now want to make the bed Black ( was blue before). Has anyone painted over an existing bedliner? Should I use Automotive paint, Duplicolor Paint Shop, or ...?
My second option is a new spray in liner. One company ( Al's Liners) tells me I can spray over my existing liner.
Third option is to compleetly remove the existing liner, down to primer, and re-spray with a new liner. A lot of work.

Vehicle is kept in a garage, and will likely have a tonneau cover ( craftec). So at this point I just want to make the bed "Presentable".

As always, appreciate your thoughts.

I'm not exactly sure what kind of paint you should use, but probably something with a flex additive, like what they use for rubber/poly bumpers.

Or you could just buy some black Herculiner. You should be able to roll or spray it on right over your current liner. And it will save you a ton of money not taking it to a company.

Whichever way you go with it, I remember somebody mentioning that you should scuff up the old liner with a wire brush to really help the paint adhere.
