I'm building a 383, and I was wondering what people thought of the Pro Topline 64cc heads.

I have a set of there heads, didn't have any problems with mine, but have heard stories of poor quality control, like spark plug holes not being threaded, thin castings that coolant could leak through and so on. I also heard that Pro Topline was being bought out/going out of business and they are no longer accepting orders.

Heres a link to what I am talking about:

Might want to give them a call and get the information for yourself, wouldn't hurt.

I highly recomend the World Products Dart 2 Sportsman heads. They're all I'll use on my hot rod motors. :)

Lately I've been looking at the Dart Pro 1 heads. I have a Dart "Kool Can" intake manifold and would like too match it too thier Pro 1 heads. I usely go with World Products, but think I'll give Dart a shot next time around.
