Gasoline prices state-by-state (http://money.cnn.com/pf/features/lists/gasprices/)
Saw this tonight and found it interesting. Thought I'd pass it on. Living in Virginia, I guess I can't gripe too much, since we're near the bottom of the list.

Looks like Oklahoma is right at the bottom, but I still complain about it being too high. Ours went up a dime in just 2 days.

Keep in mind the price also differs through out the state. Here in Northern California is getting higher each week.
Just in San Francisco yesterday and saw 91 at $2.57.
I heard reports tonight on a local talk show (KGO) they are only going higher. They claim $3.00 will be on the East Coast soon. If that is true we will be looking at $3.50 here in the bay area since California gas formulas are more expensive to make.
Any talk of Hybrid El Caminos? :?

I blame our federal government for high crude oil prices. If it were up to me, every oil producing country who cut crude oil exports to the U.S. would see corresponding cuts in our support. Conversely, those who played ball would see increased support from us. If we provide any kind of support such as military, arms, counter intelligence, hi-tech, medical assistance, etc. to any nation, I would cut that support a corresponding amount when they cut oil exports to us. (That African nation who is a member of OPEC would lose all my support for their AIDS problem. You all know who I am talking about!) In most of those nations, they would be glad to cooperate lest their internal problems get them blown to kingdom come.
Our leaders are mostly a group of gutless wonders. When a strong political leader does come on the scene; one who would play this game to the hilt, the media immediately demonizes him or her. I can name a couple of them right off the top of my head (Tommy, you know one of them, don't you?), but I won't do it here. Ain't worth getting flamed for my strong arm political strategy.
I wonder what would happen if a presidential candidate ran on this platform: Force them to play ball or we get off the field.
