I'm looking for some good pix of 5th gen's with Torq Thrusts. Preferably 15" TT D's (painted gray). I did some googling, and found a few pix, but not really what I would call good pix...

Also, looking for pix of 5th gen's with American Racing Outlaws (no holes, as opposed to Outlaw II's)

thanks...

Here you go. BTW, these are the new TQ-T-M's, not the TQ-T-D's, but they are very similar.

ive seen em on a few caminos, saw a nice 3rd gen with glossy black paint and 15's in the front 17's in the back and it looked amazing. they were chrome torq thrusts tho. the rims have to match the car tho, remember that just cause you see them on other cars doesnt mean they will match up with what you have.

Look that site up, they have the same style TT wheels there but better cost and they are setup to have a deeper dish while still fitting. I know a lot of people who use them and love them. One guy I talked to online knows the owner personally and said he a good guy to deal with and has a very nice quality product at a low price still... I love Torq Thrusts though, even though everyone and their grandmother has them but also it depends on the car. On our El Camino's they are OK. On the 5th Gens that are boxy I would maybe look at the C-55's on there which are like the Torq Thrusts but instead of the rounded spokes they are sharp pointed to match the hard cut lines of the car.

What, no love for the third gen? Because no one has posted a pic of the wheels you requested.

Sweet pix. Thanks everyone. TT's just look great on anything... I'm hoping to go with TT II's on my Belvedere (although, I have seen the Coys, and might do them instead), and if ever do anything with the '71 I'd like to do 17" TT M's in black, but I have access to 2 TT D's for the '79, and I knew they'd look great, but wanted to see it anyway...

So, please all, keep posting pix...

Georgiamadman has the best looking setup IMO. The stance and wheels are awesome and exactly what I want... Do you have room in the rear to lower the back about 1.5 more inches and a half inch or so on the front too? How does it ride with that low of profile tires? I like a little more sidewall but I know you cannot go any bigger with that size wheel and I love that size wheel on your car unless I went with 16" diameter and the specs you PM'd me about.

I still need to do a little trimming on the rear wheel wells then I will be able to go a little lower in the rear and I dont think I want to go any lower in the front and to be able to I would have to use drop spindles and I cant do so with the blazer spindles and the Z06 brakes.

I understand. Either way it looks great. Anymore pictures of the car such as a bigger picture of the side view like in your avatar pic?

I have TT IIs on mine. 17" in the front, and I'm planning on getting 17"x9.5" for the rear. Georgiamadman, what's your rear backspacing? Also, looks like you've got some big brakes up front. Did you use Fly-n-Bye's C5 conversion or something similar? I'm putting C5 calipers on mine right now, and I'm between C4 GS rotors or C5 rotors.

BTW, sorry for the large image.

His backspacing in the rear is 5.125 on the 17X9.5 inch wheels.
