I bought new seat covers from PUI (pretty nice qaulity, better than classic industries which I had bought first), I bought the foam and new spring sets from OPG. I started with a seat back. Here's the problem, the foam is way to thick and is now over stuffed - looks like a damn barca lounger.

I then put the pui seat cover on the the seat back using the original foam. And it looks like the way should look - I think.

Has anyone done this before, and where can I get foam that is the right dimensions, because I dont have the original foam for both seats.

I found the answer to my question. It turns out that the after market back rest seat springs are larger in depth and width than the originals. So, I used the old springs with minor repairs, the new foam with minor resizing, and now the cover fits well. This is the back, next I'll try the bottom's new springs, hopefully they are the same as the originals.

Sounds good! How about some pics when you've finished? Will you be installing new carpeting too, good time to change it while you've got the seats out if it needs it!

Oh yea, carpet will be new as well as sound deadening materials and padding. I won't have pics for awhile cause I'm replacing the floor pan, and all three body pieces which create the rear window area - too much rust from the rear window leakage. I'm basically refurbishing the whole interior.
