Hello,
I plan on installing headers on my 76. But on the drivers side of the 350 there is a belt tensioner that attaches to the front-most bolt on the stock exhaust manifold. My headers wont facilitate this tensioner mount. Is there a simple solution for this or will i have to fabricate a longer bolt or stud and instert a spacer of some kind to get this to work?

I can't remember what exactly was in that hole on my engine, but I do remember that it was a stud of some sort and all I had to do was cut a piece of pipe the right length and slip it over the stud. If I remember right the order went stud, header, pipe, tensioner, nut. This has worked for several years now with no problems.

I think its the Power Steering Pump bracketing that fits on there. My headers not only, and non do that I know of, didn't have the same material as the stock manifold, they covered up the hole so I couldn't get a bolt in there anyway.

For 95 or $99.00 Jeg's sells a Power Steering bracket that works fine its even shinny polished aluminum. I think its a March Bracket. That works! Zoops also sells basically the same kind of setup close to the same cost looks (decoration) a little different.
