:whaasup:I registered quite awhile back but never really used this site so I thought I might give it a shot. I have a 69 El Camino with a zz 502. I have the original 396. It's a fun sob to drive.

Good looking '69 you got there. This site has so much info on it and so many members to help you out with any El Camino questions or problems you might have. Glad to have you aboard.

thanks guys, but it 's really a 20 footer, it has a few blemishes that you can't see unless you look closely but it's still pretty nice. other work I have done is install smugglers compartment floor pans, rebuilt transmission (400 turbo), pretty much replaced the interior except the door panels including a factory am/fm, tilt wheel, map light mirror, heater core, new air conditioning parts mainly a rebuilt evaporator and housing, but I quit on that since putting the 502 in it. someday I might get it working. body bushings, rebuilt factory hood hinges,(don't buy aftermarket ones, there junk.) all kinds of little stuff. http://pic70.picturetrail.com/VOL1808/9925604/18754615/381178429.jpghttp://pic70.picturetrail.com/VOL1808/9925604/18754615/345723495.jpg
