One of my good friends has an 83 olds Cutlass supreme with a posi- rearend with either 3.23 or 3.73 gears in the back. He will be getting a Olds 442 parts car down from North Carolina with a Grand National rear end that he will transfer into his car(I think 4.11 gears). My question is, will his old posi bolt into my meano?

If you're asking if the complete drum-to-drum rear end can be swapped, yes. If you're talking about just the posi carrier and keeping your gears, probably not. What gears are in your Elky now?

Like Ernie said, It depends on which gears you have now. They will fit directy or you will need a spacer.

It is faster and easier to swap the complete rear axle assembly. Your El Camino most likely has a 2.73 gear set, the 3.23 gear set uses a different carrier. Gear ratios of 3.08 and lower (numerically) use a 2 series carrier, 3.23 and higher use a 3 series carrier.

...3.23 and higher use a 3 series carrier.
That's what I was leading up to. All 5th gen Elkys came with a series 2 carrier.

And that's what I mean too. You can buy a ring spacer so you can use it.
