I'm thinking of replacing the floor pan from the upper half of the tunnel all the way back to the rear side (closer to tailgate) of the smugglers box and from door to door. Looking for any advice. Should I cut the replacement (from another EC) larger than the new opening (where the old floor pan would be removed) with about an inch overlap or should the replacement butt up to the edge of the new opening. The rust damage is actually all in the smuggler box and the lower wall below rear window, but the pan has a bunch of drilled holes around the seat area, and the tunnel was converted from manual to automatic and it doen't look that great. Thats why I thought it might be better to replace the whole floor pan. What problems would I run into?
Thanks for any help.
