The soda blaster was so kind to NOT cover my dash when they removed my paint form my 1970 and now i need to remove my Sweep speedo plex cover and clean the lens and Speedo area. I have checked out the threads and don't see any dash removal for a 70. I removed the dash pad but don't see any real clear way of removing the speedomator or even the plexiglass cover. Please help! And thank you in advance for any replies.

I am not a violent person, but I think I would use the soda blasters head to remove the dash. I am sorry for your misfortune. At one time in life everything I had someone else do. They would destroy something else.

After much digging the answer is to remove the 5 1/4" screws on top of the speedo and then you have acces to clean the inside of the unit. WARNING don't use armeral to clean the numbers as i did. They will have no gren left. ##(*()(*)@#+{!@)+:dontknow:
