i got a 71 elky with a 350 turbo tranny on a 350 crate and want to kno what exactly it would take to convert to a 6 speed and how much the parts very in difference with different 3rd gen elky's

please any help and or advice wouild be grately appreciated....THANKS:driving:

This can be an interesting subject. I just got a T56 6 speed tranny for my Elky. It came with an adapter plate to bolt to a standard chevy bellhousing and a flex plate. Also, a new driveshaft with heavy U joints. If you want to know what it looks like, just Google Chevy T56 conversion and read the articles.
