This engine pulls plenty of power for me.. This engine is stock besides a new carb , and the carb is cheap. I really didnt want to change my hood. ugggg... LETS DO THIS!!!

i thought u would aahha go with a steel one tho, i have a fiberglass one and it had some fitment issues, it wasnt major but i know steel would be better, fiberglass also has a tendancy to shake and be less stable at highway speeds. i have got fiberglass cuz i couldnt find a steel one for a third gen, looks super cool too http://i332.photobucket.com/albums/m332/70elcoss/elco%20restoration/045.jpg

Good find.. I got this Elky from my grandfather , due to him having another '80.
I do wish that a he purchased the 87 a couple years ago.it only had 37k on it apparently.. Was only driven everyonce and awhile..
