I'm new to your forum. I'm a El Camino fan, but not a owner yet. I've been looking for a 78 to 87 El Camino for a while now, but haven't had any luck in finding one. I'm located just west of Rapid City, SD. Any help in locating a 78 to 87 El Camino with in 100 miles of Rapid City, SD. would be very cool.

Welcome to ECC/NECOA Paul!
Good luck finding your Elky. There's bound to be a nice 5th gen in SD waiting for you to bring it home.

Good luck finding your Elky. There's bound to be a nice 5th gen in SD waiting for you to bring it home. Been looking for the last year, but haven't found anything in my price range. I'm trying to stay under $3,500.00 . It's gotta have a good body, I can always swap in the built 355sbc I have in storage. (Built for my 81 Corvette project car, but that POS needs alot yet, but hey, it's a vette.)

An Elky & a Vette is a good combo.
An Elky & a Vette is a good combo. My fav. toy I'm building is a 76 Blazer K5. I live at the base of the Black Hills and off roading in the old Blazer can be alot of fun. I enjoy exploring old trails looking for ghoast towns
