It was on last night ive seen that episode like 3 times... They were 2nd and 3rd gens... I was excited the first time i seen it but they should have allowed more cars than just 50s and 60s cars to race for the money... The elkies did great but i think they ended up losing to a 50s chevy...

I saw it too! It was a good race and I live those El Camino's. They have raced before on pink at another race track. Great to have EL Caminos represented well!

When I watched last evening, the last Elco was beat by an older 30s car running a new 572 Chevy crate engine. Hard to get by something that has that kind of power, even though it was very close at the end.
I noted that engines were not mentioned like they used to do. Now it's all about hype with fast talking BS etc. Typical of today's TV.
