I will definitely be there, hopefully in the caballero, just waiting on payday to see if I have enough money to replace the currently dry-rotted tires, if not I'll drive my '04, I just dont trust 80 miles round trip on dryrotted tires.

So far the weather forecast looks good. Still, we may need to sacrifice a Ranchero to the weather gods. Or maybe a firetruck. :poke:

I'm trying to convince a friend of mine with some cool early 60's rides to come out to mesquite with me, and it just may happen. So I'll either see you guys in a) my wifes trusty corolla with a billion miles on it or b) some really cool 60's chevy. The weather is supposed to be beautiful! dig that! I'm pumped! Oh, by the way, I look just like Brad Pitt, so you'll have no trouble recognizing me.

Oh, and just a thought for others in my shoes, who have a cool el camino that is not ready to pound pavement, I'll bring my laptop along so anyone interested can check out pics of my favorite toy. And I've decided I look like a young Robert Redford (just watched Jerimah Johnson again last night). Except I don't have hair like his and my face is different too.

LOL! sounds like fun tomorrow, better bring a charger with that laptop when you come to houston! i'll bring my little laptop to the meet (if i can remember) and show off pics of the car and how much damage i've done to it.

i cant wait to meet everyone! i'm getting jealous just thinking of all the stories ya'll've been making up of me (yeah that word has two apostrophes).

If you're gonna lie 'bout me tomorrow guys, make sure it's something good, like how i was so tough the cops decided to run from me. :poke::poke:
