Carlisle Events has posted the classes for the 2010 GM Nationals. We've expanded to 6 classes this year.

That is great news that we will have another 5th gen class. Last year there were soooooo many nice 5th gens that it was hard for the judges to choose what one to go with. So it will be better for us and having more chances for guys like me to win! I just hope we get enough 78-81 El Caminos and not just all 82-87 El Caminos.

Well no of course not, the reason for the split obviously is the number of vehicles in both groups based on last year's registrations. If there was only 82-87 we wouldn't be needing to split the class.

Well I just hear you saying that we are using last years numbers. This year is a different year and like I said I do not know how many 78-81 EL Camino's preregistered. I am happy either way. The more we get the more I am happy.

I'm glad to see the pre-registration by class. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it or not. For that matter, there is still a chance that I won't make it. I will know a lot more in April.

I know that I registered mine (which is a 79)... but I'm sure there will be some much nicer ones.

May or may not get up there this year- but it aint no show car yet, no where close, maybe in a couple of years i can give the early fifth gens a run for their money!

Don't worry if your EL Camino is not a show car. All we care about is you took the time to make the trip down to the show!
