anybody know of any good shops either in the nola or b.r. area that does good work and at a decent price.

In Gonzales on Airline Hwy a place called Airline Auto Glass & Ulpostery. They do both stock and custom work and I know him personally. He also show's custom show cars.

I know that a set of buckets for a 86 cost $500. The 86 I sold had buckets and he had them recovered, by the shop in Gonzales that I mentioned. I do beleive you can do the headliner yourself. I have done it and really not much to it.

Also, in Reserve on Cental Ave. Lanny's right near the track(2nd) going towards the river. He also does good work. Tell him I sent you if you go.

In Baton Rouge, Upholstery Limited (http://www.upholsterylimited.com) and Tops Unlimited (http://www.topsunlimited.com) are two that I've seen work done from. They both do pretty good work. I'm not sure about the pricing though. I've used Tops Unlimited for installing a sunroof and was impressed with the quality and promptness of the service. Also, Stichin' Interiors (Mammoth Av.) has been in the business for a long time. I haven't seen any work by them, but I've heard they are really good.

thanks for the help. i found a shop new orleans that will do the head liner, seats, visors, and top half of the door panel for $500.00.
