That thing is fugly! I saw a 68 4 door up at Hot August Nights a few years back that had the exterior complete and interior was in progress. That body style looked good, and the person had done a real nice job on it. I'm not a big fan of cutting up anything of value or interest, but I have to admit it looked as good as the 4 dr. wagon it started out as.

That 4-door Elky looks very interesting. I wish I was closer to New Hampshire as i would drive a bit to check it out.

I saw a 4door in a Indiana junk yard....

It was not finished, but what was cool was that they never even ground down the welds so you could see how they attached the rear window, upper body contour, and sectioned the bed in......

there was no drivetrain and the interior was heaped inside
the worst part was the dually rear axle and the full-sized fender flares that were riveted in place...it also had bud wheels at the front

A dually El Camino should have been a find, but that one was starting to rust and rot too bad to get me to save it

there was one for sale around here that was built out of two el caminos and looked pretty good too. they only wanted like $1200 for it i think

I think I would make one if I had a Monte that had the rear destroyed and a Camino of the same generation that was wrecked in the front.

Hey I think ElkyPete has a great idea. If a two door Elky is neat, a four door Elky is cool then a 6-door Elky Limosine would be.....well I can't think of words to discribe it.
