Well, I have a friend that has a 67 Firebird with the rudest 427 i have ever heard....and running 4.11 rear-end. Now my car is no punk, but my gears are KILLING me...2.41 rear end. Well just for the hell of it he wanted me to race him. I stated several times I could see the back of his Firebird right where it sat no need to waste gas to see the back. After he assured me we BOTH knew I was fixing to get waxed, we lined up. What occured afterwards was the worse ass kicking iI have ever gotten in all my years...... he reved, lurched and proceded to leave 2 sets of marks for I know the whole 1/4...all teh while leaving me behind to the point i just started cruising.

Afterwards he gave me ride in this yellow beast and we pulled on the highway.....Much to the the poor timing of one of those over rated Mustang Cobras....I prayed for the kid not to goose it, even looked at him with sorrow all over my face knowing he was about to make a fatal mistake, and with his girl in the car too.. "Lord, please guide this young mans foot off the gas" too late...At 70mph we fishtailed and launched...in drive no less.......after we got back to the shop I saw the time slips...high 10's low 11's without the bottle.

The ride in that car was worth getting out run and spanked several times over.
