Ran the stock 10" clutches for years with no problems, then I decided to step up to a Centerforce II on the street. What a costly mistake that was, didn't last 8 months. Now I'm using a stock 10.4" behind my 283 with no problems. I'm picking up a 350 this weekend. I plan to build it mildly for a bit more torque on the street. Just trying to get my ducks in a row and see if anyone can give some direction towards a decent street clutch set-up? I'm running 3.08 gears in the rear and I plan to install an Eaton posi unit before the 350 goes in.

Used Borg Warner before in my dad's 1976 Corvette, but it didn't work too good and chattered really early on. Replaced it with a LUK and everything is fine.

Also have had good luck with Ram clutches. We put one in my dad's 1968 Camaro 10.4" clutch, he is very happy with it.
