Hey guys,
planning on installing my 700r4 soon, but i need to get some ideas/help first.
I am planning on installing a new holley carb to replace my rochester 4bbl during the tranny swap, and BOWTIE OVERDRIVES sells a TV Made EZ kit for the holley carbs, but its $130. is there a cheaper way to connect the 700r4 TV cable? i know its an important step and if not done properly can blow your transmission. are there other options?
thanks,
Spencer

I plan on looking into the constant pressure valve body through TCI. It's better than $250 though. I believe BTO (Jegs or Summit?) sells adapter stuff for the carb change. Then you could use the original cable.
Just my 2 cents,

Holley and Edelbrock both sell brackets for their carbs. Not sure what your running for a carb. You might find a set up for a Q-jet off an early 80's Camaro or Firebird in the bone yard. Not sure if the "G" body 2004R brackets are the same or not. I know the TV cables will interchange between the 700R4 and 2004R.

like toms84ss said go for the 2 brackets cost about 40 bucks for both the bracket & the piece to correct the angle.
