Ok, it looks like a job! What is the best way to adjust/align the doors on a 71 ElCamino? I assume you have to replace the pins and hinge detent, and then align the doors so the seals work properly.

Can anyone help on this?

We had to replace the door hinges on my 83 for door alignment. We just went out to a junkyard and found some nice ones and then put 'em on and fixed the weather stripping. It's all good now.

Check your top pins they are usually the culprit. Replace these with new bushings and pins. (be careful the springs are very strong!)

Get some help to support the door and help align it.

New striker pins are probably also a good idea. With the door open have someone pull up and down on the end of the door while you look where it is moving.
