i had a little accident on the freeway. belt came loose. overheated. hose blew off. i was fixing it when i noticed i have no coolant reservoir- ya know the one that connects to teh radiator and such. I've looked at at least 4 websites(npd, danchuk, ss396, opgi) and i can't find one. i have the one form my 76, but it just doesnt fit right in agood place because my current car is a 70. i dont wnat to mount the one from the 76 because it will look odd and out of place, does anyone have any ideas or know anywhere i can find one that will fit nicely and in agood place in my 70 camino?

PR, I can't for the life of me remember having a coolant overflow tank in any of my '70 Elky's.In the early'70's coolant overflow tanks where just starting to show up and were not pressurized like later recovery tanks. They were mostly aftermarket items and you will need to just check several for fit.If you find a tank from a later system that has a pressure cap,you will need to change the cap on your radiator.
I hope I helped,

Here's a link to a thread on Chevelles.com that might help you out:
overflow-return bottle??? (http://www.chevelles.com/cgi-bin/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=27;t=000365)
The guy who had the F-body overflow bottle had a pretty nice setup, I remember looking at the pictures on his website. I can't seem to get there now though. You can also get aftermarket ones at Jeg's and Summit relatively cheap.
