Well prom was 2 weeks ago but thought Id still upload the photos, completely buttoned and finished up everything 20 minutes before I had to pick up my girlfriend, the heads had two pulled up studs that I had to take to the machine shop 4 days before prom, luckily they worked with me and got them done quick!! I put everything back togather in about 8 hours, with barley enough time to play with the timing and carb.. first test drive was on the way to pick up my date! haha, luckly it didnt break down, and ive driven everyday since!!

My dad had a good story about his first date with my mom, he was late because he forgot to plug in the headlights on his truck, he had to run back home and plug them in before it got dark. but apparently that didnt discourage my mom much!!!:poke: (obvious reasons!)

real classy man i took my date to prom in my old 81 a few years back, should have known she was trouble when she wanted us to meet up and ride with her friends in a limo so she wouldnt be seen in the el camino

yea I couldnt let my car just sit and not take me to prom! Im a senior this year and skipped prom last year cause I thought it would be dumb, decided to go this year and thought I barley got to drive it my senior year, its taking me to prom! and im glad I decided to take it! it was way worth it!!

sweet dude!! last year for my prom my elco was still in the body shop getting painted so i took my parents 59 impala convertible! my gf was terrified the entire drive there lol cuz that car is a boat!! haha and it didnt help that i got the itch to drop the top at night :inlove: glad you had fun and took ur two special ladies haha

thanks guys! shes really special! she loves the car and cruizing in it! we took a 300 mile trip around va in on friday cause she wanted to go for a ride!
