Is it possible to have a elky with bucket seats and a shifter on the column ? :dontknow:

On a '72, not from the factory that I'm aware of.

they were never sent from the factory like that my elky was like that before i put the floor shifter in it and fixed the old steering column

well the reason I am asking is my interior is missing and according to the tag on the cowl it came with a 350 4 barrel bucket seats and automatic transmission. So am i wrong to assume that it might be a SS 350 the paint code is 53 53 Placier gold I know it's a custom elky, I told the guy I bought it from I did not want the original drivetrain. Did I make a mistake in doing so ? the truck was gutted to be made into a drag car what a shame. But I only paid $1,500.00 for it...thanks for the information :nanawrench:

You should never pass on numbers matching stuff no matter what kinda car it is. Even if you don't use it and just tuck it in the shed for however many years it can increase the value for you to the person who might buy it later.

automatic column shift was an option with bench seats, all manual trannys were floor shift tho
