Hey Guys....
Just curious as to everyone's temp readings.
I have a clutch fan pulling plus dual electric fans pushing.
Super clean radiator and cooling system.
I live in Florida where it is in the 90's
Regular driving, no air cond on temp reads 180
with air cond on reads 200
Just want to compare notes. Just seems high with the ac on.:???:
Thanks for sharing

Those temps sound fine. Looks like you may have a 180 degree thermostat. Mine with AC on runs 205-210, but I have a 195 stat, and my outside temp might be a little higher than yours. I wouldn't worry unless you start to get close to 220.

Why do you have both? Your temp is a bit high with the AC on...but not outrageous...195 is normal. Question is how high will it go in Florida come August when your stuck in traffic. I don't know what your CFM rating of your dual electric fans are...but if your using them in conjunction with a clutch fan...you should have small furry animals stuck to your grill.

yes I do have a 180 Thermostat.
As to why both.....well I thought my car ran hot and installed the fans to help cool it, but later realized my gauge in the dash is way off. So I installed a gauge at the radiator cap to get a accurate reading. While my dash gauge may say 210, the cap reads 180. So since the fans were installed, I decided to just leave them...no harm done there.
But I was wondering if others ran at 200 or 205 ish*at the cap reading) with the air on as I do. Seems to be normal I think. I do have a worked ZZ4 motor with shaved heads and cam and stuff.... probably runs hotter then a stock I am sure. She puts out 410HP...
Any oppinions are welcome.

AIR; I'm running 600hp here in coastal SC and never had a over-heat; secret? Griffin 3-row and
a STOCK fan shrould. The shrould is the ticket.
Keep it as coll as needed... Dale S.
