Hello!
I might go down to Florida this summer and would love to drive back up to Canada with another elky. So i take a chance here, if anyone is selling his or know about a good one to buy in FL, i might be interested. Yes i am checking ebay & craigslist too :)

Hey Eric...the more I look at the rust we have to deal with up here...the more I think about doing the same thing. I've got a a good friend/neighbor that brings up US cars and trucks...he keeps saying just give me specs on what you want and I'll find it for ya. He does bring up alot from Florida. Good luck in your search.

Kevin, feel free to ask about a 5th gen 1978 to 1981, or even a '65 or 3rd gen (dreaming here). 4 speed manual would be awesome :)
I too am getting a bit sick of the rust buckets. I just fixed my 5th gen but i wished i had a rust free all original one...

I'll put the bug in his ear. On another note...my other neighbor just told me about an El Camino he saw on his work travels about an hour and half away...said it was single headlight black with some kind of decalling on the hood!! It's sandwiched inbetween to other cars in a very small town. Sounds like something I better check out.

Uli, go to M & M Speed and Custom website (Rich is one of our members, you can find him under the Vendor forum) and look up the For Sale forum and you'll see this '85 Choo Choo, I believe is worth a look.
I don't know how far south in Florida you are coming to, this car is located in South East Florida. Tony.
Found a cheap freighter so i guess nation wide is fine now. Florida would be easier for me but i could get a look at other states if someone has a good offer...
Thanks Carretera, not into the choochoo's at all but the price is very fair :)

just gonna point out that if you are wanting to avoid rust Florida is not the best place to be looking for an elky, now like far west Texas or new mexico in the desert where it is dry, that is a place to find less rusted cars

2nd on the nice ride, 79 elky! We all have our reasons for selling along the way, but you might regret this later, it's sweet!
