Team Chevelle (http://www.teamchevelle.com) has added a separate El Camino forum to it's site. It's great to see these vehicles finally getting the respect they deserve. Team Chevelle has always considered the Elky a part of the Chevelle family, but giving it a forum of it's own shows how much interest there is them. 8)

I guess they have been watching us!
To be honest, I think it has alot to do with the post made over there last week about ECC El Camino owners unite (http://www.chevelles.com/cgi-bin/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=022501)
Rather than lose members (which they wouldn't anyway, hey I visit daily) they probably thought it might give their Elky owners a place to hang their hats.

Actually, Al, the administrator over there, has had many many requests over the last few years to add it- He made a bunch of changes in the last week including adding new forums specifically for Elcaminos, Wagons, Convertibles, & Copo/Dealer special cars.
I think its nice that they added it- but it does not change the fact that ECC is now firmly *THE* elcamino site on the net... I think it will be good to have that on TC, because the late model folks who normally get ignored on there, now will have a spot where people can point them over here without looking like we are hijacking the site.

I figure its like this. You can buy tires at Walmart or you can go to someplace like Discount Tires or NTB and buy tires. While at Walmart you can look for batteries and diapers for the kid. at Discount Tires or NTB you got nothing but tires so should you have a question about the tires they're more likely to give an answer than at Walmart. But still Walmart has tires.
We have nothing but EL Caminos here. so our information is a bit more focused on the Elky rather than generic Chevrolet stuff. Both are useful but one is more useful to us than the other. Both get the Job done I suppose.
