I got an edelbrock 1405 (manual choke) 600 CFM carb. Got it all installed and having a bit of trouble. I THINK i will just need step-up springs but heres the problem.
If i get on 1/4 throttle, its got wicked power, but get on it a little more off the start, and itll start stumbling and bog a bit. Get past that, and itll start screaming just fine. I adjusted IMS to where it was the best power, not too rich not to lean, and I still have this problem. Correct in thinking i need to get some step-up springs? Im on stock, (orange, 5hg) right now. Goto 6hg? or drop to 4?
Thx in advance

Hum, My 1406 was great right out of the box. It seems like you need to step up.

Ya problem fixed :D Was starving for fuel in secondary transition so went to a 6hg spring.. All fixed.. Might need to goto a 102 metering rod, just to give it a little more. Got a 100 right now ;/ Thx.
