Couple weeks ago I was asking questions about putting a Grand Prix dash in 83 EC. I've got it in and just about ready. My oil pressure goes full right real fast and shakes when it stops. When I disconnect the wire from the sending unit and ground it the oil pressure reads 0. The EC had guages, not lights. Recon that sending unit isn't compatible with the guage?. I haven't started the car yet so I don't know what happens then. Where should I start troubleshooting ?

I would use a sending unit compatible with the donor dash gauges, not your original elky gauges.
