I just bought another elky as a daily driver today. Its is not presentable at all so we have to do a repaint and a complete interior swap by sunday. That gives us 3 days wish me luck!!!!

Well it has taken alittle longer than planned something is bad wrong with the engine, i believe the head gaskets are blown or the head is damaged. We got alot done since thursday though we removed the front end, gutted the interior, i painted the engine,frame and firewall. No i didn't do it all in one day i bought in on thursday, friday we removed the front clip and started pullin all the electronics off,and gutted the interior. Saturday we removed the rest of the electronics, presure washed the engine,and painted it. sunday i sanded the firewall and frame and painted it. monday we put the front clip back on and put the engine back together. Now the motor isn't running right, you crank it up it revs wide open without touching the accelerator then i backfires and dies all in about 10 seconds im stumped of what is causing this.
