We are trying to take the dash out. Cannot figure out how to release the wiring that goes to the lights so we can pull it out. Help please? :?

Are you taking out the whole dash ? If so you may find it easyer to take the harness out from fuse box up less chances of brakin stuff on cluster and gettin poked in the eye.

I am taking out the whole dash. It is brown kinda color right now and I plan on painting it black, so I need to pull it completely out. Have anymore advice?

I found it easyer to take the seats out to get a look up inside after takin out the bolt in the plug setup for the engine harness and runnin lights in engine compartment opp- fuse box remove the plugs unbolt fuse box carefully pull away from firewall trace wires up to dash remove plugs and i.d them maskin tape and a pen.Ifound it easyer to unbolt plug on colum (for Ign) and then unplug it put back take out screw for selector on colum (holds cable) take off dash pad screws acrss front from cluster to glove box going up slide pad forward. throw out pens now you can see down in there ibeleve there are two mounting bolts by glove box two in middle two on end .take out two big bolts holding colum it will hang down a little and remove the one more little bugger on top of colum .be nice to it they like to crack right there .ps dont step on fusebox. remove em- brake handle.
