I know of a guy down in Cary, NC that has a 80 El Camino, I've thought of posted one night to see how many are in just Virginia and near area. Would love to see if we could arrange something sometime. Got to go but will be back later this evening. Rango

I have 84 Conquista in Roanoke,va.All original (needs paint this year, it has two tone brown factory paint which is spider web but no rust).

You must have moved since you signed on. Your provile said Fort Benning, Georgia. Do you show your car? If so there is a 3 day event in Clarksville, VA 15, 16 and 17 . The car show is the 17th and if you pre register it's only $10.00 or 20.00 the day of the show 8am to 3pm that Sat. 17th. It right on the lake, Kerr Lake. It would be nice to see other El Camino /Caballero

I would love to come up to the show it's only 2 hrs away. But Ms January is under going a tummy tuck right now. The interior of my 85 is all out. Putting in new buckets and carpet, I hope to have her put back together this next week. If you are down towards the Raleigh area, there is a car show the 3rd Saturday of the month just outside of Raleigh in Garner at Grill 57, there are usually about 100-150 cars there, depends on the weather.

Yea it's a little of both, the best cruise in is Oakboro NC, here's the link for that .

It more than likely the best on the east coast , hunreds of cars show up for it, cool bun out contest. When I finish up the interior on my El Camino I plan on going up there in August

I'm still doing a car show every single weekend some where in Va or NC within a 100 miles from my house, that's my limit and you must be up abound the Washington area, but I'm not looking at a map either. Today we've got one 5 miles from my house, last weekend I traveled 100 miles, but going cross country it was a beautiful morning drive. I've only seen one other El Camino, and I think you mention the 78 Black that's all orginial in the Salem/Ronake area. They won a trophy last weekend. I bet the best bet is to go to Carlise next year since there will be alot of us there and owners from other states that live above us. I've got 4 bumpers and alot of other stuff in my basement but with a bad back, anyone that wants one, them will have to come by the house. Anyway sorry I got carried away here this morning.
