So are you looking for a complete rear end or are you just looking to add posi to the one you have now?
Lots of Posi/Limited slip units out on the market. I used the PowerTrax positive traction system on my 5th generation and will be installing the PowerTrax LockRite system in the 76 eventually. Aubern and Richmond make good posi units also they are more conventinal and will require a complete change of the carrier. The powerTrax units don't require a change of the carrier just install them and they are simple to install.
Just my input.
Im not so much concerned w/ internals.. I was curious if you anyone had specific makes/models/years of vehicles w/ an interchangable (or close) rear end housing w/ plate to plate tubes.. Something within maybe a few inches (willing to chop her up and put bigger wheels tires under)..

Look at the local "Trade n Times" or similar newspapers. Also try the local auto body shop. Those guys get wrecks all the time and sometimes part them out. I found mine in the paper. It came out of an 1983 Monte. The gears were replaced and the guy smashed up the car and was parting out the rear. Just lucky I guess. It was a direct swap that took 3 amatures 1.5 hours.
