Were any of you good folks aware that this lovely high detail diecast is soon to be available? These are photos of a prototype so be aware that many small details will be updated/corrected before it goes into production. The production cars will not carry the Malibu-style hubcaps but instead will have the Z16-style mag wheel hubcaps.

Man that looks nice. Are your working for a toy company?
If so I wish I could find a gold model and particularly a 5th gen type(no one makes the 5th gens yet)!!! :D

P.S. where can i buy one of those and how much !!!!

I agree...it looks GREAT! Can't hardly wait till the 66 elky makes it way to the production table. Might I suggest it be red??? :-P

I don't work for this diecast company, but I have been working with them on their entire '65 Chevelle line.

The company is Lane's Collectibles and the brand name of the product is Exact Detail. Find them at www.exactdetail.com Their site can recommend any number of dealers. I happen to prefer www.diecastmuscle.com.

The suggested retail is $109.95 but I know you'll be able to get one for around $90 (see www.diecastmuscle.com).

The series also includes a red Z16, an Evening Orchid convertible, a Mist Blue convertible and following the black El Camino a maroon SS coupe with an L79 will be made (I wonder where they got that idea?).

Thanks, let me know if you have any other questions.
