Can anyone tel me about how much it costs to replace both floorpans? I know ill be spending about $400 for the pans, but im curious as to how much the labor is going to set me back. :?

It depends on who does it and what they charge. There's a welding shop near me, and they take as long as possible and charge $50 an hour. It's a bad place to go. If for instance they charge $25 an hour, they'll have to cut out the old pans, and weld in the new ones. But they also have to remove all the carpet and seats and what not before they dig in. If they do all the work, you're looking at a few hundred dollars. If they just take out a seat and pan, and then weld in the new one, you're looking at about an hour or two (for the shop) less. Hope this helps.

It does. I guess the best bet would be to take out the carpet and seats my self, sit on a milk crate, and drive it to the shop.

Well, hope it turns out well. I'd like to hear about how it went when it's done. Don't forget to paint it before it rusts!

My wife once made a phone call to her parents that we called, "the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." See, she just landed a job, she just crashed her car, and she just decided she was moving in with me. 8-) Good Times! So this would be the Ugly  :

$60 Sheet Metal for four 18g unformed rectangles
(Hammered, Riveted in, with 16 guage reinforcements)
$50 Tools: Snips, Riveter, rivets, blacksmith hammer, drill bits
$40 Welding on Seat feet, they were rusted rotten.
$10 Cans Undercoat spray and Butyl Rubber Sealant
$160 This guy tack welding floor pans and seat mounts

$320...oh well, it was fun anyhow! :)
