So last night I was driving down a 30mph well paved road when all of a sudden I hear my center cap fall off and roll into the opposite lane. I was cruising so I managed to stop in the direction it went towards. But it was at night so I had no luck finding it. Now I'm in hopes that perhaps someone has a center piece laying around that they can sell. I know it might be a long shot just to get that particular piece, but that's all I really need.
Here's a pick of the exact wheels I have on there.

I lost one too recently (just the cap part in the center) I did have a spare. Put some epoxy in before the screws that hold the 2 parts together...I had already found more loose ones. Got a single from Dave's Rally wheels in CA for $35 shipped. Thats metal not plastic.

This happened right when I got off work too. I was in such a good mood and then that happens. The rest of them aren't going anywhere. I checked them to see if they were loose and they were sealed in tightly.

And I remember...well being present....When a stolen one was being replaced by another back in the 70's. I have the last 6 #'s of the VIN engraved on all of mine. At least they could be identified if they showed up at a pawn shop or swap meet.

Those locks are definitely something I would like to get. Not because I'm afraid of someone stealing, but because another one of my caps may decide to run away from me :nanawoot:
And I'll try the guy from Dallas try to see if he would ship it up here. If that doesn't work I already have an eye on one that I spotted on Ebay :yell:

I think I have one spare center cap. Give me a day or two to check thru my parts inventory. If i read you correctly, you only need the cast, ribbed center. Am I correct?

I have a Caballero and the wheels say Chevrolet Motor Division. I've come to learn that about 99% of what the El Camino had out of the factory was the same coming from the Caballero.
