I just bought a 78 El Camino. None of the dash gauges work. where should I start looking ??? Also, the power windows don't work, what to do ???

Picture or very detailed (shape, speed, type) description of dash requested.

N E Way, I have an 80 and i went to a 81 Malibu and paid the junkyard man 65 bucks (i pulled it BTW).

Sorry, Can't help with the pwr windows but i assume that an 78-82 Malibu, Monte, Elky will divulge the same goodies! :cool:

Start with the fuse for "Gauges". It should be 20A. If it's good then you probably have a bad connection at the gauge pod plug.

The power windows have a fuse too. Check it first. Let us know what you find.
