I need gauges, plain and simple. Only my fuel gauge works. If you were in my shoes, what would you do? (with a limited budget of a max of 4-500) I was thinking of either buying new gauges such as non-repro gauges or buying used, or repro. All opinions appreciated!!!

Well maybe your gauges are not bad, but some bad wiring or fuses went on it. That is my first guess. Did they work when you got your El Camino?

I am finishing up a build, and have a couple of sets of gauges(Tick/Tach), and cluster housings. Will sell for best offer, plus shipping. Bought on ebay, SUPPOSEDLY working, do not know for sure.
I am in Punta Gorda, between Ft. Myers and Sarasota. If you are close and want to see them. P.M. me for more info.

Tuggy,
My speedo cable is just about shredded, the speedo needle is just about snapped in half, it's just dangling on there. My idiotic idiot lights aren't working, and i have no tach (the clock is in there but no needles?). My fuel gauges is the only gauge actually working, and that is off by about 1/6-1/8th of a tank.
P.S. PM sent to samjudi

If I were you I would go with aftermarket gauges.

what's the speedo go to? Or if you can pull the dash and check the wiring serial number on the back, I may have something that can work for you
its a cluster panel from a mid 80s monte carlo I pulled.
if it's the right number it could be a plug and play, wasn't the same as my ss though
if not,

seems to have some cool clusters
