My name is Pat Harmon and I have a question for you members.I do not own a Chevy (bear with me)but I happen to own 3 GS buicks and a 1970 Skylark that I'm frame offing due to the frame is rusted. The other afternoon we were stripping the interior out of the Skylark and got lucky to find the buildsheet for the car(there were 3 for this car
to be exact). But this is where the thing gets strange that perhaps someone here can help with.Along with the buildsheet for my car, there was also a buildsheet for a 1970 Chevy car folded up with it.Upon a closer look we determined the following about this particular vehicle.
It was ordered by Crawley Chevrolet in Oklahoma
built at the Leeds plant(Kansas City)
Vin #136800K120190
HAS STRATO BUCKETS,CONSOLE W/ M21 4 SPEED
POSI 3.55 REAR
PDB/PS
L78 396 MOTOR
GAUGES/CLOCK
DUCT HOOD
ZL3 SS 396 CONV
Z25 SS PKG
PAINT IS 78 WITH I BELIEVE A BLK VINYL ROOF
TRIM 756
If anyone should own this car and can prove their ownership,Iwill personally send this important info to them.Iknow how hard these are to get sometimes and Iwill gladly help them out.I currently am a member of www.v8buick com and go by the name bignastyGS on there as well.I also have the same name on Aol instant messenger too.If you would like to email me about this,my adress is pdharmon@tds.net.Ifound out about your site from a fellow member on v8 and thought I would take a chance on here to see if I could find the owner of this rare car/truck.
Thank You,
Pat

I found this on Chevy-Talk and decided to post this here also.

Wouldn't that be wild if the owner was an ECC/NECOA member and was able to retrieve a 34 year old build sheet??
This could be one of those stories that legends are made of... well maybe not, but it would still be a great story to find the current owner.

Thanks for trying to track down the current owner. Shows class.

Wow! what a story that would be especially since that Chevelle is a very desirable and kinda rare car.
